It is ok to talk about women's veil niqab but till date I have not seen any scholar who talks about men's veil. First of all, Almighty Allah told men to lower their gaze when they see women. Talking about men's veils will not create any more strife.

Both shuykh make sense but Sh Yasir Qadhi's point is to be more careful and i am.I only eat halal.

I am more inclined with the explanation of Dr Salah, than Dr Zakir Naik. Due the evidences presented from Ayaat to Sahaba's explanation.

Because this i also asked what is deen and it generational time ? I faced situations where meny would say we not equal to prohets and his wives…..however it shouldn’t be a reason to stop niqab…but to balance things with its times and situation may be possible..

I will give you one example in my area in our villages why niqab will be seen difficult for them 1) our living to survive is farming, now going to farm weeding, women also participate, in such situations you most have a suitable clothing for so you can work effectively…

Niqab weather it’s obligation or sunnah it just a good thing since it mentioned in Quran but now some women may see it deficult due circumstances of their living conditions….

How do we make sûre our deen mactch with today’s generation where meny are not able to fulfill the rights of their religion due to circumstances of their lives situations….?

That’s what happened when you learn Dean from books, this guy has no understanding about basic principles religion.

When it comes to comparative religion Dr Zakir is the best but he has not studied fiqh under qualified ulama so his opinion will not be regarded as correct. People who think it’s fine to accept his view on fiqh would they accept to fly in an aeroplane without a qualified pilot? or an unqualified doctor to treat them? Or an unqualified mechanic to fix their car breaks? My point here is please don’t take issues of akhirah lightly. The logic he is using makes no sense as I can give many counter arguments to his logic. Dr Zakir is unable to recite one ayah of Quran correctly (with Tajweed) which is the basics of our deen and command of Allah azza wajal let alone him delving into interpreting Quranic laws!

Dr Zakir Naik is using some study and "logic" to back his views. But in deen we cannot base anything on logic and scientific studies. We have to base everything on Quran, sunnah and the practice of Salaf us saliheen. The ummul momineen and the Muslimas of the time of Prophet sas covered their faces.
